Job summary

The Phoenix Edge is a discreet, patient-centered medical practice in North Carolina seeking an experienced NP or PA to deliver personalized hormone therapy, wellness programs, and preventive care. You’ll lead by example, mentor staff, and own the patient experience while upholding high clinical standards.

You’ll develop treatment plans, guide workflows, and help shape clinical protocols in a growing practice. A collaborative, patient-centered approach and strong clinical judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina NP or PA license.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Three or more years of NP or PA experience preferred.
• Experience in hormone therapy, endocrinology, or wellness is a plus.
• Mentoring, precepting, or leadership experience is valued.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, patient education, and appropriate prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized hormone and wellness treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory testing to guide treatment and monitor progress.
• Prescribe and manage therapies using evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients about options, expectations, lifestyle changes, and health.
• Provide direction to medical staff to promote coordinated care.
• Model professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication.
• Address questions and workflow concerns with constructive solutions.
• Contribute to protocol development and quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and current medication orders.
