Safeway is seeking a Lead Night Stocker to guide the Grocery Department’s nightly operations, drive sales, and maintain in-stock, pricing accuracy, and high merchandising standards. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, team support, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced store environment.

You will oversee scheduling, coaching, and development of associates, while ensuring compliance with safety and store policies.

Qualificações

• Experience in grocery/retail leadership preferred.
• Ability to oversee daily grocery dept operations and drive sales.
• Demonstrated coaching, scheduling, and staff development skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-faced, and merchandised to company standards
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment

Main Responsibilities
