Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami, FL, seeks a Lead Newbuild Strategy to guide the planning, design, and delivery of new ships from concept to launch. You will partner with shipyards and internal teams to ensure vessels meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and guest experience expectations.

The role requires 7+ years in investment banking, consulting, corporate development or private equity, plus strong financial Modeling, P&L forecasting, and robust communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in investment banking, consulting, corporate development or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, P&L forecasting and business plan analysis.
• Excellent writing and presentation creation skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with legal contracts and business terms.
• Self-starter with curiosity and drive for quality work.
• Cruise/travel industry experience is a strong plus; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Performs strategic analysis and independently plans to assess industry and growth opportunities for the newbuild portfolio.
• Develops and maintains relations with key industry participants and potential targets.
• Supports processes to improve business drivers and inputs.
• Oversees financial/valuation analysis by outside advisors.
• Owns due diligence with target executives, outside advisors and SMEs.
• Leads due diligence reporting and summaries to leadership.
• Influences internal teams on implementation and integration planning.
• Supports deal structuring and negotiations.
