Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is seeking a New Model Advance Quality Engineer Level 2 to lead the launch of new vehicle models. You will steer cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive quality plans, drive continuous improvement, and ensure top quality during APQP and new model development.

In this customer-facing role, you will be the primary contact for the customer quality team and drive issue resolution, audits, and PPAP sign-offs to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years in automotive quality engineering, focused on new model development.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Experience in process audits, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Expertise with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and APQP.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of quality plans for new vehicle models with cross-functional teams.
• Drive QA activities for new model development including design reviews and risk assessments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
