Kasai North America, Inc. seeks a New Model Advance Quality Engineer Level 2 to lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing comprehensive quality plans for new vehicle models. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure APQP compliance across the development process.

This customer-facing role requires coordinating prototype builds, pilot runs, and ramp-up, while leading audits and root-cause analysis to meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years in automotive quality engineering, focusing on new model development.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Experience with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, and APQP.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and implementation of quality plans for new vehicle models.
• Drive QA activities including design reviews and process validations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Develop KPIs to monitor quality metrics and drive improvements.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
• Be a core member of APQP activities cross-functionally.
• Lead new model launch activities including prototypes and ramp-up.
• Represent company in customer and supplier quality audits.
• Build SOPs for part inspection for pre- and post-launch.
• Support training of Level 1 Engineers.
