Qualifications

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Experience developing ML models, computational methods, data analysis pipelines, or scalable scientific software.
• Experience in connectomics, neural interfaces, neurally-inspired AI, or foundation model-based neurobehavioral analysis.
• Ability to obtain Secret level security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML models, systems, and computational methods for connectomics, neural interfaces, neurally-inspired AI, and/or neurobehavioral research.
• Lead and collaborate on pioneering research with government and commercial partners.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop ML algorithms, software platforms, and neurotechnology for nervous system analysis and interaction.
• Communicate findings internally and to sponsors, including proposal development.
