Job summary

University of California, Berkeley seeks a Network Security Video Engineer Lead to act as the technical lead for enterprise security video services and supporting infrastructure. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide operations support for video systems and related network components.

Collaborating across cross-functional teams on projects, system upgrades, and service improvements, you will ensure reliable, secure video operations for campus customers and end users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience/training.
• Genetec Omnicast Administrator and Advanced Administrator preferred.
• Genetec Security Center Enterprise Certification Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the security video team, ensure timely response to requests and incidents, and coordinate documentation updates.
• Coordinate with project, infrastructure, and construction teams on timelines and deliverables and ensure clear communication with partners and customers.
• Evaluate customer needs, explore new technologies, manage access controls, and update camera management mappings and software.
• Lead design reviews, install audits, and validation for large developments with external design services.
