Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation's First National Bank seeks a Network Engineer 2 to provide advanced networking support from our Hermitage, PA Technology Center. This on-site role partners with Technology and lines of business to define plans, architect solutions and ensure reliable LAN/WAN functionality.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS or 5 years of related experience, CCNA or CCNP certifications, and strong skills in routing, switching, security, and project coordination. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years of related job experience.
• CCNA or CCNP certifications required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs resolution activities of junior staff.
• Define priorities for Technology networking projects.
• Expertise in routing, switching, IP schemes, load balancers, VoIP, wireless and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot network vs. application issues; resolve security patches.
• Update network diagrams and vendor liaison duties.
• Work day shift with possible after-hours/weekend coverage.
• Follow Change Control procedures and collaborate with PMO and business lines.
• Purchase, install and support LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
