Job summary

First National Bank is seeking a Server Engineer 2 in Pittsburgh to provide advanced server support, develop long-range infrastructure plans, and collaborate with Technology and business partners.

The role requires 3+ years in networking and server environments, a BA/BS, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Onsite work with occasional after-hours may be needed; familiarity with VMWARE, CISCO UCS, and SANs is beneficial.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required; minimum 5 years of related experience.
• 3+ years of technology-related experience with networking, physical and virtual servers.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand server and network analysis; collaborate on long-range infrastructure plans.
• Consult with Technology and lines of business to provide appropriate server functionality.
• Direct the resolution activities of junior staff; prioritize technology networking projects.
• Assess server functionality and patches; coordinate patch schedules; provide server build sheets.
• Develop and execute test cases and scripts; update project diagrams and procedures; act as vendor liaison for systems.
• Work day shift with potential after-hours/weekends; follow change control procedures.
• Collaborate with Technology, PMO, and business partners; interact with vendors and external support personnel.
• Lead complex strategic initiatives, patching, and infrastructure projects; purchase, install, and support servers.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
