Piper Companies is seeking a Lead .NET Software Developer to perform hands-on development and architecture of cloud-based .NET applications for our homebuilder & construction company. The Lead .NET Software Engineer will be responsible for developing a robust in-house suite of applications for enterprise clients both small and large.

Responsibilities of the Lead .NET Software Developer include:

1. Lead development and mentorship of team members
2. Creating a self-help function/API for small to mid-sized clients
3. Connecting and enhancing older systems and automating redundant steps to improve customer experience
4. Demonstrating self-starting capabilities and good communication skills
5. Participating in application architectural discussions

Qualifications for the Lead .NET Software Developer include:

1. 5+ years of experience in software development/engineering
2. Experience with .NET and/or .NET CORE, including Service-Oriented Architecture, Web Services, and REST/Restful APIs
3. Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git repositories, and DevOps workflows
4. Strong back-end experience with an understanding of front-end processes
5. Preference for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related technical field

Compensation for the Lead .NET Software Developer includes:

1. Hourly Range: $77/hr (W2, C2C, or 1099)
2. Salary Range: $155,000 annually
3. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and holidays as required by law
