Job Title: Software Engineer - Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer - Senior to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices, experience mentoring and leading software engineers, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Build robust back-end services and APIs using C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.

Qualifications
  • Professional experience in software development, with a focus on web and back-end technologies.
  • Expertise in front-end development (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON).
  • Advanced knowledge of back-end development (C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, LINQ).
  • Hands-on experience in the full SDLC, building enterprise-level web and desktop applications.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET MVC and .NET Core, with deployment experience on IIS.
  • Proficient in source control tools, particularly GitHub, in a team environment.
  • Solid understanding of database design, performance optimization, and production environment management using SQL Server.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, handle complex projects, and deliver results independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Azure services and cloud-based development is highly desirable.
  • GitHub Foundation GH -900 certification is preferred

Experience: 6+ year's relevant experience

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
  • Associate's Degree in a Technical Field
  • Certification in relevant focus area

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 120000- 136000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
