Job summary

The incumbent will report to the Director of Athletics, manage budgeting, scheduling, and equipment, and ensure student-athlete development both on the field and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations regarding Men's Baseball.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Completion of NCAA Division III Rules Test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the baseball program, including scheduling, budgeting, and day-to-day operations.
• Recruit and retain qualified prospective student-athletes to build a competitive roster.
• Conduct training sessions to aid in skill development and manage game-day prep and scouting.
• Monitor eligibility status and promote academic progress of student-athletes; support health and safety.
• Hire, supervise, and mentor assistant and volunteer coaches; counsel team members as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of NCAA, conference, and Centenary University rules; enforce standards of behavior for student-athletes.
• Manage the program budget and equipment, including purchases and supplies.
• Coordinate team travel and develop a competitive schedule; transport to away contests as required.
