• Knowledge of competitive tennis techniques, rules, and player development.
• Commitment to academic success and holistic development of student-athletes.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit and retain student-athletes in a selective academic environment.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
• Ability to collaborate with senior management, faculty and staff, students, alumni, volunteers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the men’s tennis program including practice planning and on-court coaching.
• Recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
• Monitor academic progress and student wellbeing.
• Provide instruction in technical, tactical, physical, and mental tennis aspects.
• Develop and implement a competitive schedule.
• Supervise assistant coaches and program personnel.
• Manage budgeting, equipment, travel, scheduling, and admin tasks.
• Maintain records and compliance with NCAA rules.
• Represent program professionally within campus and external constituencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Athletic Director.
