Job summary

The University in Greencastle, Indiana seeks an Assistant Tennis Coach to assist with day-to-day coaching duties, recruitment, and mentor student-athletes. Responsibilities include compliance with NCAA III rules, coordinating practices and competitions, and supporting academic progress.

Under the direction of the head coach and Director of Athletics, you will help coordinate transport and lodging for team travel, contribute to budget management, and participate in ongoing program development.

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with NCAA Division III rules.
• Mentor student-athletes to support athletics and academics.
• Develop and implement recruitment planning.

Responsibilities

• Follow NCAA Division III rules and conference and university regulations.
• demonstrate sportsmanship and ethical conduct.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting plan with head coach.
• Plan practices and competitions to achieve athletic success.
• Mentor student-athletes to balance athletics and academics.
• Arrange transportation and lodging for team travel as directed.
• Administer a fiscally sound athletics program.
• Evaluate program effectiveness under supervision.
• Monitor student-athletes' academic progression.
• Perform other duties as assigned by athletics leadership.
