This is a part‑time, non‑exempt position with varied hours from Monday to Saturday. The educator works closely with the Manager of Youth & Family Programs and participates in outreach and community partner

• Must be able to lead tours for 2–4 hours and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑of hands‑on, inquiry‑based programs for youth across three museums and grounds.
• Attend and complete educator trainings for three museums; train one museum at a time.
• Lead accurate, age‑appropriate tours with families.
• Customize each program to meet curriculum and student needs.
• Attend ongoing training sessions and pre‑program meetings.
• Be contact for visiting groups and greet groups on arrival.
• Stay after programs to review successes and challenges with staff.
• Mentor new museum educators and support ongoing partnerships.
