Job summary

ProTec Building Services seeks a capable maintenance technician with multi-trade experience to perform repairs and supervise assigned jobs on site in Murrieta, CA. You will handle tasks across carpentry, concrete, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall while coordinating technicians and ordering materials.

The role requires strong safety awareness, the ability to read technical specs, and the capacity to work independently with good communication to management.

Qualifications

• 2+3 years of working experience in at least 2 trades (framing, concrete, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• OSHA certification a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with no DUI/DWI in past 5 years.
• Ability to use construction tools and equipment.
• Self-starter capable of working unsupervised and communicating with management.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of building components and report hazards to management.
• Read technical data and manufacturer specs; perform repairs and installations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and execute work orders or scopes of work.
• Coordinate activities of maintenance technicians and order materials.
• Prepare job site evaluations to determine material needs and deliver items to site.
