Job summary

Willow Bridge Property Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a multi-family community in McKinney, TX. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, vendor coordination, safety adherence, and delivering quality repairs to residents while protecting asset longevity.

You will manage a maintenance team, plan schedules, train staff, and enforce company policies while ensuring timely completion of make-readies and service requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience; property management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Expert-level understanding and diagnosing in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred: HVAC, EPA & CPO where applicable.
• Effective communication with management, partners, subordinates, vendors or residents to exchange information and give/receive work direction.
• Expert skills with operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair.
• Basic computer skills and valid license; ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be available for regular on-call work assignments and emergency overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff in daily activities including maintenance, installation, repairs, turns, and grounds cleaning.
• Hire, train and develop maintenance staff; enforce safety policies.
• Communicate effectively within the team; motivate members and set expectations.
• Participate in department or regional meetings and community events; lead safety and department meetings.
