Job summary

Royal American Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead multifamily cast-in-place construction projects, oversee onsite crews, contractors, and vendors, and ensure safety and compliance on site.

The role requires strong coordination, timely decision-making, and experience with coordinating subcontractors, scheduling, and equipment use. Travel between sites may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in multifamily apartment buildings.
• Experience in an office environment with customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with preliminary plan distribution, bid reception, subcontractor scoring, and administration.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure project timelines are met; perform site tasks, quality checks, safety walks, and material scheduling.
• Maintain site logs, schedule, equipment use, and crane operations as needed.
• Communicate project changes for PM approval; ensure OSHA compliance and safety on site.
• Lead jobsite meetings and issue minutes; write issues to subcontractors, inspectors, or utility companies until resolved.
