Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Troy, Alabama is seeking a Multi-Functional Quality Associate Manager to lead a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors, shaping processes that ensure mission-critical products meet the highest standards.

The role requires a STEM degree, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with AS9100 quality systems, Six-Sigma and SPC. This onsite, full-time position offers growth within MISSILES AND FIRE CONTROL.

Qualifications

• STEM Degree at the Bachelor level or above.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and interim clearance prior to starting.
• Working knowledge of Quality Engineering methods, processes, and tools.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality systems.
• Experienced in reading and interpreting drawings and standards.
• Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools.
• Pass ATF background check to obtain employee possessor status.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, selection, training, and performance recognition for quality personnel.
• Allocate resources, assign work, and maintain an effective business rhythm.
• Communicate quality requirements, concerns, and expectations with internal teams and DCMA.
• Drive risk and opportunity management, and oversee metrics programs to address adverse trends.
• Ensure product acceptance, delivery, and compliance with contractual and internal quality standards.
