Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician at our Indianapolis area facility. You will oversee maintenance across Utilities, Tank Farm, Warehouses and admin areas, leading a team of mechanics to maximize uptime while ensuring GMP compliance.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues, and maintain detailed work orders and equipment history. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a multi-craft maintenance role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or technical degree or certification; 10 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Lead a team of mechanics and technicians to maximize equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and asset history.
