Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to lead the MRI department, mentor staff, and ensure efficient workflows while delivering exceptional patient care using advanced imaging equipment.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM with rotating call for nights/weekends, and a compensation package including $32.00–$50.00 per hour, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, $2,500 relocation assistance, and an $1,800 monthly housing stipend for the first three months.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MRI) certification required.
• Florida licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
• Minimum of several years of MRI experience.
• Previous leadership or lead technologist experience preferred.
• MRSO Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the MRI department to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding patient care.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for MRI Technologists, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
• Assist with staff scheduling, including on-call coverage, to ensure appropriate department staffing.
• Perform MRI examinations while producing high‑quality diagnostic images using advanced imaging equipment.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of MRI anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and compassionate care throughout each examination.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new employees and students.
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media in accordance with department protocols.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for evenings and weekends.
• Support departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
