Job summary

RadNet in California's Clovis area seeks a Lead MRI Technologist to guide the imaging team, ensure high-quality MRI procedures, and support daily operations alongside the Imaging Center Manager. You will mentor technologists, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate imaging results while maintaining efficient scheduling and workflow.

ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensure, and BLS are required, with familiarity with RIS, PACS, and imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment and PACS is preferred.
• Ability to maintain all required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to the Imaging Center Manager on technologist performance and quality.
• Coach, train, support, and motivate team members.
• Monitor performance during periods and document findings for the ICM.
• Promote flexible staffing and delegate tasks across teams and departments.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and RadNet safety protocols.
• Maintain technologist duties to keep skills current and address staffing shortages.
• Support the ICM in facility initiatives.
• Assist in hiring input and performance evaluation for MRI staff.
• Act on behalf of the ICM when the manager is unavailable.

You Will

• Provide the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) with feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists.
• Manage and provide coaching, training, support, and motivation to team members.
• Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provides documentation to the ICM.
• Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.
• Adheres to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and generally accepted safety protocols.
• Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and to alleviate staffing shortages.
• Supports the ICM in facility initiatives.
• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of MRI employees
• Acts on behalf of the ICM when individual is unavailable.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(R) (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• Must have BLS certification
• A familiarity with and ability to use equipment in including RIS, imaging equipment and PACS.
• A demonstrated the ability to maintain all required quality standards

Pay Range

$40.00 - $57.00 Per Hour
