Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist / MRI Coordinator in Newton, KS to oversee MRI department operations and patient care. You will partner with the Imaging Director to support staff development, quality initiatives, and research projects with AMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Lead MRI Technologist or supervisory role.
• Current ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)).
• Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Assist the Imaging Director with daily departmental operations.
• Lead and facilitate staff meetings, training, and educational initiatives.
• Support workflow optimization and process improvement projects.
• Coordinate MRI-related events and departmental activities.
• Collaborate with AMR on research studies and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to MRI safety standards, departmental policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor, coach, and support MRI staff in clinical best practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and departmental documentation.
• Deliver outstanding patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
