Next Move Healthcare in Newton, Kansas is seeking an experienced Lead MRI Technologist / MRI Coordinator to provide leadership for MRI services and drive departmental efficiency in a hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging team.

You will work under the Imaging Department Medical Director, coordinating staff development, safety, and quality assurance while maintaining high standards of imaging and patient care. A strong clinical background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent with radiologic technology training.
• Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years MRI experience, including at least 1 year in a Lead MRI Technologist role.
• Current ARRT certification in MRI, required at submission.
• Active ARRT Radiography certification.
• Active Kansas Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Maintain any additional registries required for the modality.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations following imaging protocols and standards.
• Coordinate daily MRI operations and workflow efficiency with the Director of Imaging.
• Assist with staff meetings, training initiatives, and process improvements.
• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to MRI technologists.
• Ensure MRI safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with AMR for MRI-related research activities and protocols.
• Support planning and coordination of departmental events and initiatives.
• Monitor imaging quality and patient safety to improve outcomes.
