Job summary

PDX Movers in Houston, TX is hiring Lead Drivers to run the crew and deliver excellent customer service on moving jobs. You will drive company trucks, supervise 2–4 movers, and ensure safe, efficient moves with on-site client contact.

The role offers base pay $17–$22 per hour (with tips) and weekly pay, along with health, dental, and vision benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License (2+ years) with clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift 75–100+ lbs repeatedly.
• Experience in moving, delivery, route driving, or crew leadership.
• Punctual, reliable, and strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate moving trucks (non-CDL).
• Lead a crew of 2–4 movers on residential and commercial jobs.
• Wrap, load, pack, and protect customer furniture and belongings.
• Coordinate on-site operations and customer service.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate company moving trucks (non-CDL)
• Lead a crew of 2-4 movers on residential and commercial jobs
• Wrap, load, pack, and protect customer furniture and belongings
• Keep the move running smoothly, efficiently, and safely
• Be the main point of contact for the customer on-site

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License (held for 2+ years) with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 5 years)
• Physical ability to lift and move 75-100+ lbs repeatedly
• Prior experience in moving, delivery, route driving, warehouse, or crew leadership
• Punctual, reliable, and strong communication skills
