Job summary

The Lead MOUD Registered Nurse at Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore provides clinical and programmatic leadership for the MOUD program at the Fallsway site, coordinating care and supervising nursing staff.

The role partners with the Lead MOUD Medical Provider, Recovery Services Director, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure accessible, client-centered care for individuals with complex health and social needs.

Qualifications

• BSN required and Maryland RN license.
• Minimum three years in community health, addiction care, or similar.
• Experience with substance use disorders and harm reduction.
• Experience with underserved populations, including homelessness.
• Supervisory/mentoring experience preferred; MOUD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care within the MOUD program including addiction care, wound care, and care coordination.
• Models person-centered, trauma-informed, and harm reduction care.
• Coaches, mentors, and supervises MOUD nursing staff.
• Oversees nursing practice standards, documentation, and clinic workflows.
• Supports integration of preventive care and chronic disease management into MOUD services.
• Drives clinic quality improvement and compliance with policies.
