Job summary

Health Care for the Homeless seeks a Lead MOUD Registered Nurse for the Fallsway site to provide clinical leadership for the MOUD program and supervise nursing staff. You will oversee clinic workflows, ensure high-quality care, and coordinate services across primary care, behavioral health, and recovery supports.

Grounded in trauma-informed, harm-reduction approaches, you will mentor staff, drive quality improvements, and maintain compliant, safe patient care in a fast-paced, low-barrier setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required; current Maryland RN licensure and BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum three years of nursing in a community health, addiction treatment, harm reduction, or primary care setting.
• Experience caring for individuals with substance use disorders and homelessness.
• Supervising or mentoring clinical staff preferred.
• MOUD or office-based addiction treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the MOUD program, including addiction care and care coordination.
• Model trauma-informed, person-centered, harm-reduction approaches to care.
• Provide clinical coaching and supervision to MOUD nursing staff.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure clinical oversight within MOUD clinic.
• Coordinate clinic workflows, scheduling, and supply management.
• Lead clinic-level quality improvement, compliance, and environment of care.
• Collaborate with behavioral health, primary care, and community partners.
• Support warm handoffs and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Ensure documentation per agency standards and timeframes.
