EHC Construction is seeking a skilled Finish Motor Grader Operator/Foreman in Southwest Florida. Join our employee-owned team to lead equipment operations and oversee tasks ensuring safety and quality across highway and site projects.

You will operate graders, perform maintenance, read plans, and manage grading to meet precise specifications while maintaining production schedules and coordinating with the crew. Strong safety focus and decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Motor Grader Operator on highway, road and residential development projects.
• Proficient in motor grader operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Familiar with grading techniques, subgrade shaping, and fine grading for horizontal surfaces.
• Experience with automatic grade control systems.
• Ability to make decisions based on verifiable standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader to grade and shape surfaces, subgrades, shoulders, slopes and base materials to spec.
• Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Move materials, level dirt, shape subgrades and dress shoulders.
• Use automatic grade control and manual methods to meet precise grade specifications.
• Maintain production levels, schedule tasks and meet timelines.
• Monitor workmanship to meet project specs and standards.
• Enforce safety procedures on-site and ensure crew compliance.
• Identify and resolve issues during project execution.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or project manager.
