Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Principal Motor Engineer to lead motor development for power tools at our Brookfield, WI headquarters. You will own technical direction, steer rapid prototyping, and guide cross-functional teams from concept through production.

This role requires strong problem-solving and leadership skills, familiarity with brushless DC motors, and global collaboration with Asia and other regions. Domestic/international travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (B.S.) required or equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of design experience in motors or power tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief technical resource and mechanical engineering leader on motor projects.
• Lead rapid prototyping, risk mitigation, and agile development cycles from concept to production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across cross-functional teams.
