Job summary

Constant Education Inc is seeking a passionate Lead Montessori Teacher to join our team in South Orange County, CA. You will inspire young minds using the Montessori method in a nurturing, child-centered environment that values independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

You will plan individualized lessons, maintain an organized classroom, mentor aides, and communicate with families while collaborating with leadership to uphold Montessori standards.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) is required or preferred.
• Prior Lead Teacher experience in a Montessori setting is required.
• Strong understanding of child development and Montessori pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Montessori-based lessons aligned with child development principles.
• Prepare and maintain an organized, inviting Montessori classroom environment with age-appropriate materials.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
• Guide students in developing independence, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
• Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Collaborate with school leadership to uphold Montessori philosophy and program standards.

• Valid California teaching credential or Child Development Permit preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanour with a genuine passion for early childhood education
