Job summary

Informuta seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead the CAP/CLIA molecular pathology lab operations on site in New Orleans. You will oversee staff, specimen processing, quality systems, and day‑to‑day activities while escalating complex technical issues to the Lab Director.

The role requires CAP/CLIA eligibility, strong leadership, and a track record in high‑complexity molecular testing, including compliance with safety and data integrity standards. On‑site availability is required.

Qualifications

• Meets CAP/CLIA Molecular Pathology supervisor eligibility via one of two paths, with required high-complexity testing experience.
• Licensure as CLS or eligible per LSBME requirements.
• Ability to document CAP/CLIA eligibility with degree records and documented testing experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise qualified personnel performing high‑complexity testing and reporting patient results; monitor analyses and quality control.
• Provide on‑site supervision and technical consultation as needed under approved procedures.
• Conduct staff performance reviews, coaching, and orientation; document CAP/CLIA competency assessments.
