Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent in Neuroscience, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of molecular and optical imaging experience including sample prep and microscope operation.
  • 5+ years of experience with animal models of aging and neurodegenerative disease and postmortem brain samples.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior researchers and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Procure, validate, and characterize ex vivo human brain samples and iPSC-derived neural models.
  • Operate advanced imaging systems, develop protocols, and apply biochemical assays.
  • Coordinate lab management, training, and manuscript preparation.
  • Collaborate across IND and affiliated labs on translational neuroscience projects.
