Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a high-impact Lead Modeling and Simulation Engineer to lead the execution of a complex contract with NSWC Panama City Division. You will own the mission, overseeing multi-domain simulations, and guide development from idea to implementation.

The role applies simulation-based engineering to diverse applications, using C++/Fortran, SIL/HIL, and visualization tools. Unity experience is a key component; you will lead with excellence and integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience using computer simulation technologies, including probabilistic, SIL, and HIL simulations.
• Proficiency in contemporary programming languages including C++ and Fortran for simulation and modeling.
• Experience developing virtual data visualization products to display real-time simulation results.
• Ability to support modeling of complex systems with multiple changing variables.
• Active DOD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of a complex contract supporting NSWC Panama City Division.
• Oversee complex, multi-domain simulation efforts shaping naval technology.
• Develop and execute computer simulations (probabilistic, SIL, HIL) to assess solutions.
• Model dynamic systems using C++/Fortran and visualize results for stakeholders.
• Support Unity-based simulation development and virtual/augmented visualization.
