Job summary

Beast Industries seeks a Staff Mobile & Product Security Engineer to anchor security across mobile apps, web clients, and backend services for a 100M+ user ecosystem. You will own the security program end-to-end, embedding with product squads to threat-model and harden features before release.

You will lead secure SDLC, mobile code reviews (Swift/Kotlin/React Native), dependency controls, and offensive testing.

Qualifications

• Security engineer with hands-on coding on a product/mobile team.
• Experience securing consumer mobile apps (iOS/Android) at scale.
• Ability to run pen testing programs for mobile and web/API.
• Familiarity with partner security frameworks (SOC 2, PCI) and security reviews.
• Knowledge of AI-native security considerations and on-device features.
• Startup culture experience and ability to ship in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Embed with mobile and product squads to threat-model, review, and harden features before they ship.
• Own the mobile application security program end-to-end: secure SDLC, code review (Swift/Kotlin/React Native), dependency controls, security tooling.
• Own the broader product security program: secure-by-default patterns, API/backend security review, and tooling for engineers.
• Run the pen testing program across mobile and web/API, coordinating internal and external engagements, turning findings into fixes.
• Architect controls and documentation to meet partner security requirements for deals.
• Set security baseline for AI-native stack including mobile AI features and models.
• Write playbooks and paved road standards so security is easy as the org scales.
