Job summary

Vitalant in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to guide donor care teams, lead phlebotomy processes, and coach staff on best practices. You'll travel to mobile blood drives and oversee setup, teardown, and on-site donor comfort.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with clean record, and the ability to obtain a CDL. Prior phlebotomy experience preferred; supervisory training within six months is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to complete and pass CDL license program.
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site.
• Coordinate the setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Drive company vehicles including vans and buses to drive sites.
