Polymarket is seeking a Lead Mobile Performance Engineer to own speed, efficiency, and responsiveness of our mobile platform. You will set the direction for mobile performance, define standards and systems for fast performance at scale across iOS and Android.

You will lead with technical conviction, establishing a world-class performance practice for a high-traffic product serving users globally. This role demands a data-driven, hands-on leader who can raise the bar for the entire mobile team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mobile performance at scale.
• Expertise in rendering, memory management, network optimization.
• Strong Swift or Kotlin proficiency.
• Experience with real user monitoring and observability.
• Data-driven, measurable approach to performance.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile performance end-to-end with measurable targets.
• Define architecture and tooling for mobile performance.
• Optimize startup time, rendering, and runtime efficiency.
• Design data fetching, caching, and synchronization strategies.
• Build observability with real user monitoring and crash reporting.
• Set performance standards as the team grows.
