Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer to drive architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale native iOS apps with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.

You will set the technical vision for modular architecture, reusable components, and Design Systems across multiple product teams. You will lead end-to-end delivery, collaborate with cross-functional leadership, and mentor engineers while advancing CI/CD and test coverage to ensure performance, reliability, and scale of enterprise mobile

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications with production exposure to iOS and Android.
• Demonstrated technical leadership on large-scale mobile initiatives.
• Deep expertise in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, plus iOS architecture and design patterns.
• Experience designing and evolving Design Systems and reusable UI components.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable native iOS apps using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI.
• Define the technical vision for modern iOS architecture and reusable components.
• Own Design Systems strategy and cross-team UI components.
• Deliver complex customer-facing features integrated with backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/Design, Android, Backend, QA, and Platform leadership.
• Provide technical leadership across the full SDLC including CI/CD and tooling.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and drive engineering standards.

components, and shared libraries/frameworks adopted across multiple teamsAdvanced understanding of iOS application architecture, design patterns, modularization, dependency management, and separation of concerns, with the ability to define architectural direction at scaleExpertise in designing applications that integrate with REST APIs and distributed backend servicesStrong command of networking, concurrency, and data persistence, along with application lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimizationAdvanced skills in unit testing, UI testing, and code quality practices, including Git and automated build/release processesSolid experience defining and improving CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment processesDeep understanding of SDLC, Agile development practices, and
