Nubank is building a new generation of crypto experiences in Palo Alto. As Lead Software Engineer, you will own customer-facing mobile and full-stack crypto experiences, guiding design and delivery across mobile and backend boundaries while preserving security, correctness, and performance.

You will mentor engineers and partner with product, design, and security teams. You’ll translate complex concepts like wallets and onchain transactions into intuitive customer journeys and drive reliable,

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and operating production mobile apps with API/backend collaboration.
• Proven track record leading medium-term engineering initiatives from design to production.
• Solid foundations in client architecture, state management, API contracts, testing, performance, reliability.
• Ability to simplify complex or high-stakes workflows for customers.
• Experience designing transactional or security-sensitive product features.
• Clear communication of technical decisions with product, design and engineering partners.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, launch, and operation of customer-facing mobile and full-stack crypto experiences.
• Own complete product flows across mobile interfaces, APIs, service integrations, data/state, release readiness, post-launch health.
• Translate wallets, asset movement, and onchain concepts into clear customer experiences.
• Make architecture tradeoffs across usability, security, performance, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Build resilient transactional experiences with validation, error handling, testing, and observability.
• Coordinate dependencies with backend, platform, security, compliance, product, and design partners.
• Mentor engineers and raise team standards for mobile architecture and ownership.
