Job summary

Tellwise is building a forecasting platform to predict cashflow for the weeks ahead, and you will join as the third engineer responsible for the forecast and its surrounding tools. You will own recurring detection, projection, volatility and the confidence range, ensuring the numbers inspire trust and accountability.

You will also craft the evaluation set so changes are judged against histories with known outcomes before release, and ensure data ingestion survives the many bank CSV export

Qualifications

• Five+ years building systems with real-time or forecasting work.
• Ability to design evaluation approaches from first principles.
• Comfort with TypeScript or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own the forecast: recurring detection, projection, volatility and the confidence range.
• Build the evaluation set. Every change is measured against histories with known outcomes before it ships.
• Keep the forecast honest when the history is thin or the income is irregular.
• Make ingestion survive the dozen ways banks export a CSV.
