Prudential Financial is seeking a data analytics and ML-focused engineer to operationalize machine learning models and build scalable data pipelines. You will collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to write robust application code, validate models, and automate deployment and testing processes.

The role emphasizes cloud-based solutions, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, with opportunities to coach teammates and drive innovation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and leverage diverse ideas.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and TDD.
• Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes for making sound decisions.
• Ability to learn new skills through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize ML software models and components with Product and Data Science teams; remove impediments.
• Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, automate tests and deployment.
• Leverage cloud-based architectures to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
• Construct optimized data pipelines to feed ML models.
• Use CI/CD best practices, including test automation and monitoring for deployments.
• Provide input, coach team members, and embed learning and innovation.
• Tackle complex problems with analysis of data and intangible variables.
• Use programming languages including Python, R, SQL, Java or Scala.
