Job summary

Red Sky is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics & Computer Vision) to join the founding technical team. You will own the product's ML core and shape its direction as the company scales, working closely with the CTO and Co-founder.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on training deep models, building robust CV pipelines, and delivering a commercially viable robotics product from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end Deep Learning experience from data to model deployment.
• Proficient in modern DL tools with custom data loaders and loss functions.
• Hands-on computer vision with CNNs/ViTs, detection and segmentation.
• Strong software engineering foundation with production ML components.
• Startup mindset: fast, pragmatic, capable in uncertainty.
• Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Own the AI/ML core of the product and align with technical strategy.
• Write custom training loops and design neural architectures (PyTorch, etc.).
• Develop MVP AI/ML components from data processing to deployment.
• Define AI/ML stack and model architecture alongside CTO/Co-founder.
• Monitor trends in AI, CV, and robotics to stay competitive.
• Mentor engineers as the team grows and scale the function.
• Translate customer feedback into robust technical requirements.
• Contribute to a culture of code quality and rapid iteration.
