Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a hands-on Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join the founding technical team building a robotics automation platform. You will own the ML core, shape technical direction, and deliver edge-ready computer vision capabilities from day one.

This role is highly technical and not about prompts or wrappers. You will train models from scratch, design architectures in PyTorch/TensorFlow, mentor engineers, and help scale the product within a fast-paced startup studio environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in end-to-end deep learning from data to deployment.
Proficient in PyTorch, with custom data loaders and losses.
Expertise in computer vision: CNNs, ViTs, detection, segmentation.
Strong software engineering and production ML experience.
Fluent Polish and English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

Own the AI/ML core and align with the CTO & Co-founder to the technical strategy.
Write custom training loops, design neural architectures (e.g., PyTorch).
Develop MVP AI/ML components and end-to-end lifecycle including edge deployment.
Propose and help define the AI/ML stack and model architecture.
Monitor AI, computer vision, and robotics trends to stay competitive.
Mentor engineers joining the AI/ML function as the team grows.
Translate customer feedback into robust AI/ML requirements.
Promote code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and high execution standards.
