Job summary

Master Elite Spice in Sparks, NV is seeking a Mixing Lead to oversee daily mixing operations and ensure quality and safety standards are met. The role runs 6am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including training staff, validating logs, and verifying batch details.

Lead by example in GMP adherence, monitor equipment and processes, and assist with forklift operations as needed to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Lead day-to-day operations and mentor operators on the mixing line.
• Demonstrate effective communication and positive instruction style.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting and independently.
• Proficiency in all standard operating procedures for mixer position.
• Maintain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• The Mixing Lead should monitor day-to-day operations and be available for questions.
• Verify tool bags are returned and document tool logs; report shortages.
• Train new regular or temporary employees on Mixer SOPs and paperwork.
• Check and sign pre-operational checks and logs; report discrepancies.
• Double-check batch cards and ingredients before staging products.
• Take product samples for quality control before packing.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and conduct swab tests.
• Assist with enforcing GMPs and support operations as needed.
• Support production staffing requirements, including forklift operation.
• Inspect ingredients for contaminants and ensure label accuracy.
