Job summary

Cavalry Construction is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to supervise and execute water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation projects in the Round Rock/Austin area. You will coordinate field crews, communicate with homeowners and project managers, and ensure timely documentation and safety compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in mitigation or related field, IICRC WRT certification preferred, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Proficiency with Dash/Xactimate is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mitigation, restoration, or related field.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency with mobile apps or job-tracking software (e.g., Dash, Xactimate).

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and environmental mitigation services.
• Assess damages, determine scope of work, and recommend strategies.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain mitigation equipment.
• Ensure work complies with IICRC standards and company protocols.
• Train technicians in mitigation techniques and safety.
• Assign daily tasks and oversee productivity.
• Maintain clear communication with homeowners and project managers.
• Complete and upload job documentation and notes.
