Job summary

Arcfield in Washington, DC seeks a Lead Missile Systems Integration Engineer to drive DOE/DoD interfaces for the SLCM-N program. You will manage ICDs, analyze system interfaces, and coordinate with government customers and external partners.

You will lead lifecycle engineering activities, ensure compliance with standards, and mentor teams while shaping risk assessments, trade studies, and action milestones across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant technical field with significant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Proven ability to author technical documentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for integrating DOE components with DoD missiles.
• Lead lifecycle engineering projects ensuring government standard compliance.
• Develop ICDs, defining all interfaces across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Interface with DOE/DoD customers and external partners, presenting findings.
• Manage SLCM-N requirements through acquisition phases and translate to design needs.
• Plan and milestone coordination across stakeholders to meet goals.
• Conduct system-level analyses including modeling, trade studies, and risk assessments.
• Represent the Re-Entry Branch at meetings as customer liaison.
• Prepare and review technical documents for accuracy.
• Participate in design reviews ensuring traceability and compliance.
• Coordinate across organizations for project performance.
• Be data-driven and propose improvements based on analyses.
• Other duties as assigned.
