Job summary

David Nice Builders is seeking a driven Project Manager to own complex millwork projects from initial drawing through fabrication, shipping, and delivery. This role is hands-on, requiring collaboration with architects, engineers, and shop personnel to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality millwork.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and documentation, while maintaining direct client contact and overseeing shop drawing production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architectural millwork or commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Owns project schedules and tracks milestones.
• Manages procurement quotes and vendor lead times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and teams.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Maintains accurate documentation and scope adherence.
• Comfort coordinating cross-functional teams on-site and in shop.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact through full lifecycle.
• Oversee shop drawing production and maintain drawing sets.
• Develop and monitor project schedules with Production Manager.
• Build and manage detailed project budgets.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions.
• Coordinate shipping logistics and loading when needed.
• Manage change orders and client-initiated revisions.
