Job summary

Vervic Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Qualification Engineer to design and execute qualification plans for complex Army systems. You will lead testing across components and subsystems, ensuring MIL-STD compliance and collaborating with development teams. The role requires US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance, with up to 25% travel.

The position involves on-site work on military vehicles and weapon systems, supporting the full product lifecycle from test design to results reporting.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree.
• 15 years test and evaluation experience.
• 5 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above).
• Experience with evaluating systems to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army systems.
• Lead or support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors.
• Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD461 и MIL-STD_464).
• Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features.
• Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle.
• This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.
