Job summary

Vervic Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Qualification Test Engineer to support STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team. This role focuses on designing and executing qualification test plans for complex Army systems and ensuring compliance with military standards.

The candidate must have a BS or BA, 15 years of T&E experience, 5 years in weapon system qualification testing, US citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, and be willing to travel up to 25% (US travel only).

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required.
• 15 years of test and evaluation experience.
• 5 years in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of 10 years).
• Experience evaluating systems to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.
• US Citizen with active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25% (US travel only).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualification test plans to validate Army systems.
• Lead or support component, subsystem, and system qualification testing (Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors).
• Evaluate systems to ensure MIL standards compliance.
• Identify weapon system issues and defects via testing.
• Report findings to ensure final product meets specifications with development teams.
• Must be able to climb on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.

Seeking candidates for a Qualification Test Engineer to support STRIKE Test and Evaluation Team. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army systems.
• Lead or support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors.
• Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD461 and MIL-STD_464).
• Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features.
• Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle.
• This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems.

Required Experience

• BS or BA degree.
• 15 years test and evaluation experience.
• 5 years experience in weapon system qualification testing (can be part of the 10 years above).
• Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD461 and MIL-STD_464).
