Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering, design, construction, and modification of crude and refined product pipelines and terminal facilities. Open to multiple locations including Artesia, NM, with strong safety and regulatory oversight.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering, 8+ years in pipelines or petrochemical facilities, and proficiency with ASME standards and project lifecycle management. Collaboration with EPC firms and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred.
• Minimum eight years in pipelines, terminals or petrochemical facilities.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, design, construction, and modification of pipelines and terminal facilities.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle for safe, reliable operations.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and supporting technical documentation.
• Produce and review engineering drawings, calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate EPC firms, contractors, and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Support PHA/HAZOP, MOC, incident investigations and PSSR.
• Perform field site investigations and optimize system performance.
