Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Lead Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Mechanical Trainer to develop career paths for technicians and engineers focusing on the SGT-750 fleet. The role is on-site at one of three locations: Deer Park, TX; Houston, TX; or Winston-Salem, NC, with travel to maintain knowledge and support outages.

You will deliver hands-on training, classroom and virtual sessions, assess competency, and help expand the training center's capabilities while ensuring adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) required, with 5+ years of workshop/maintenance experience.
• Experience in training program development or capability building.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training for SGT-750 and other MGT models (500/600/700/800) and gearboxes.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on technical training and assess competencies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engines and modifications; ensure EHS compliance.
• Serve as SME for NA MGT training standards and best practices.
• Contribute to training center development by identifying needs and improving facilities.
